ON SEEING: the sky

Color Drop is focusing on photographs as "journal notes" and how they inform one's Signature Artist Voice.
The photos and paintings posted are similar in composition, color and character, yet unrelated in direct influence.

It's about being aware of interpreting our world emotionally, intellectually, physically . . .
and how that impacts artistic expression.

Within, oil pastel, 10" x 10"                              Night scene: Vail, CO

Morning sky, Denver, CO                        Captured, oil pastel, 5" x 5"

Blending warm and cool color creates rich and captivating light in the sky and on paper.
